The 120-Hour Course

In order to become eligible for the Pennsylvania Nursing Home Administration state license examination, most applicants need to complete a 120-hour course of continuing education that has been pre-approved specifically to meet that eligibility requirement.

The ICER "Introduction to Nursing Home Administration" course consists of the sessions needed to meet the 120-hour requirement.

The 120-hour course costs $2,950. The fee includes: Three-session Refresher Course, all materials, certificates of attendance, the self-test booklet, continental breakfasts and snacks.

If you are a licensed NHA in need of credits, you may attend individual sessions within the 120-Hour Course, as they are also pre-approved by the board and can be taken toward maintaining licensure. The fee is $195 for each session.
