The Role of Government in Health Policy & Regulation in LTC

Provides the student with an understanding of how the American medical system has evolved, the development of health policy, the role of government in formulating policy and purchasing care, and an understanding of how other healthcare institutions (hospitals, home health, assisted living) impact the nursing home industry.
